Sex in a place of worship… should you go there?
In answering this question, I will begin with a personal anecdote…
I once dated a guy who freely admitted to having sex in a church, in fact he was quite proud of his conquest (I was NOT involved and it was right under the cross in case you’re wondering…..just thought I should add that in because a lot of perverts read this blog).
When you think about it, this is somewhat repulsive. Every time I go to church; to hear a sermon about the evils of pornography or watch a nativity play, I will now be confronted with a mental image of this shifty character getting his rocks of in the middle of the stage. Luckily for me, I do not visit churches often so this isn’t an issue.
Needless to say, this budding relationship died not long after this revelation. Truth be told, it was not directly related to the said incident but to the fact this guy had red hair and the personality of a flaccid whelk.
But think of the things that could go wrong if getting down in the house of god!
Imagine being walked in on by a priest (wrong on quite a few levels there!) or worse, the junior choir practise. Furthermore, I would always be wondering if my partner was thinking about me, or about Jesus (I don’t like competition).
I am a staunch atheist, but even I wouldn’t spit in the bible.
Case closed.
For an atheist person, I sound quite puritanical on this issue; I would love to know what everyone else thinks.
Have you had sex in a place of worship?
And did you feel like you were being perved on by a religious deity?
Up coming locations to be discussed in this blog are: Schools or education facilities of any kind: Public Toilets: Main Roads and last but not least the internet.

What we all have to remember is , Jesus or God will and can see us having sex wherever we do it....so why not in a church?
Do it for the team and make it that extra religous...

I think it's disrespectful... no matter what your beliefs. I'm personally Christian but it's not just about my faith.
It's basically about respecting each other, why have sex in a church when there are plenty of other places to do it? It's like taking a bottle of Tequila to an AA meeting. Leave people to their respective havens no matter what you believe in.

Some of the poetry in Song of Solomon would be condemned as pornographic by certain Christian fundamentalists if you read it to them and they didn't recognize it as being from the Bible. It's sexy but not at all pornographic...
